We don't have to understand....

I heard a couple songs the other day...one called 'Someone Else's Star,' and the other 'When God Has Another Plan' by the Greene's. Or the Hopper's. Different places say different things :) Someone Else's Star isn't a Christian song, obviously, but the chorus is thought-provoking.

I guess I must be wishing on someone else's star

It seems like someone else keeps gettin' what I'm wishing for

Why can't I be as lucky as those other people are?

I guess I must be wishing on someone else's star.

Am I the only one who feels this way at times? Sometimes, things just don't work out. My plans fall apart, people don't respond how I think they should, the list goes on. And I'm tempted to feel sorry for myself. And fall apart. And give up.

But life doesn't work that way.

It doesn't just stop 'cause my plans don't work out.

Life keeps going.

And so should I! Why? Because usually when things don't work how I think they should, I wasn't in God's will. I probably missed the little hints, so He had to make it obvious. And sometimes there might not be anything 'wrong' with my plans, it just wasn't time. Or things might happen that aren't my fault at all! He has the big picture. I just have a piece of the puzzle. I don't have to understand. Just follow His will.
