Wow! What an amazing weekend...

The ECD (English Country Dance) practice was Friday night, and I had a blast. Regency/Jane Austen period dances for three hours....amazing! :) Can't wait til the real thing - this Friday. I'm so excited...now to decide which dress to wear!

Saturday, (my birthday! 15....) Lindsay, Allie, Rachel, and I went on a trail ride at Cedarock Park with Elvis, Heart, Peppy, and Chance, respectively. It was a lot of fun! Chance was rather tense to begin with, but he eventually relaxed, and we had a good time. The CYF (Christian Youth Fellowship) rally with Greg Lentz was that night at Amity Hills in Asheboro. We were supposed to meet at PH at 4:15 in order to arrive in time for the youth choir...Rachel and I stepped in the house at 3:55. That was one of the fastest showers I've ever taken :)

Yesterday, MawMaw, PawPaw, Grandma, and Grandpa all came over after church. We had lasagna and cake...a layered brownie, chocolate ice cream, and cool whip frozen delight. It was amazing! I received several very nice gifts...you know you're getting older when you get excited over a cook book :) Mom and Dad gave me the NC Plantation & Historic Homes Cookbook, and I can't wait to experiment! They also gave me a Civil War reproduction pottery mug and a little Potter's Lamp...oh, they're beautiful! Perhaps I should take a picture... :) My grandparents gave me an old butter churn, and I love it! Now, if only I had a cow...

This coming weekend is gonna be a doozy...working Friday, ECD Friday night, then State horse bowl, hippology, and judging Saturday!!!!! Ahhhh....I'm so excited!
