God is so good...

Welp, today was The Day! State horse bowl, hippology, and judging. And it was absolutely amazing :) SAHC did very, very well!! Our junior team (Rachel, Bob, Reagan, Alexandria, and Mary) placed 5th out of the 12 top teams in the state! I don't remember exact high individual placings, but Alexandria, Bob, and Rachel all placed in the top 10!!!!!! My mixed team (MJ, Hannah, Brianna, Victoria, and myself) placed 2nd!!! And I was hoping to place individually...but was so, so surprised when I won high individual. Twas amazing.

And then hippology....I was very nervous about it, and wasn't expecting to do well at all. But my God is...amazing. All powerful. All knowing. Loving. Merciful. :) And our team (Allie R [Other Half], MJ, Hannah, and myself) won high team!!! We also placed third in the team problem. MJ was the only one in our group to place in judging, and I don't remember the exact placing, but she did absolutely amazing :) She also placed individually overall!!! (I'm so sorry, I'm terrible at remembering everything!!)
It's Allie's last year, and she was really hoping to make the state hippo team....and she did, of course :P She placed fourth on the exam/ID's and third overall individual. Well......we TIED for third individual! Other halves... :) Our brains really are one separated thingamabob. But because my exam score was lower, I ended up fourth...which was INCREDIBLE!!! I wasn't even expecting to place at all. Another Other Half fact...she scored higher on the exam, and I scored higher on the ID's :) So I placed third on the exam/ID's, and she placed fourth...then it was the other way around for overall indiv. Good times!!!
Juniors also were absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!! I...again...don't remember exact placings. But their team was in the top six, and I believe Bob placed fifth or sixth in judging, exam/ID's, and overall indiv. :D

It was so awesome...it's amazing how much smoother things go when you give everything to God!!! We prayed before every match and looked up and read Scripture that kept us going - oh, it was great.

Now I have a huge decision to make - since I placed within the top 8 seniors on both horse bowl and hippo, I have the opportunity to try out for the state team...which competes in Mississippi, Ohio, and Kentucky. I've basically knocked out horse bowl, but hippo is a possibility...since Allie and MJ are both (most likely) doing it, and Lindsay's probably gonna coach. It's a huge commitment, of both time and money though...so it's gonna take a lot of prayer!!

Okay, I'm gonna go...my brain is dead :) The English country dance was last night, so I was dancing til 10:30, didn't get home til after 11...then I was up at 5 this morning. It's been a long day!
