This past weekend reminded me of a ball I was invited to back in February...and my friend asked to see the pictures. So here are a few :) It was the first Civil War-era dance I'd ever been to, so learning the steps was...interesting, but I had a blast. Also the first time I'd ever worn a hoop skirt - quite an experience!

I had such a wonderful time with some wonderful people, and I'm hoping to make it back next year! :) I learned to waltz...and how to 'dismiss my partner' {apparently the guys shoes have zero traction, and my partner kinda slid across the room during the Gothic Arch...oops.). With that I shall close...happy trailzz!
