A somewhat substantial post :)

Wow...I haven't written much amount to much on here lately :) So, here's a catch-all post about what's been going on in my life and what God has been teaching me...

1. Hippology - Practices, tests, and homework assignments have kept me busy. And I love every bit of it. So excited about Southern Regionals!!!

2. Bible Bee - not quite on track with my verses, but getting there. Slow and steady wins the race, yes?

3. VBS skits - We're doing two, one about Saul/Paul and one about Noah and the flood. Practices have been going really well, and I'm looking forward to the performance.

4. Farmer's markets - This week was pretty good...we actually went to four different ones. Well, two at Chapel Hill. I enjoy markets, but sometimes the heat gets rather overwhelming...thank You, Lord, for our wonderful Kangaroo cups :P Slushies are one of the most amazing inventions ever.

5. Horses - I'm starting to take lessons every week now, and I love it. Chance is doing soooo good!! Cindy Sydnor came and taught a dressage clinic for our club last Saturday, and she said she could tell we've both improved. :) Yay, Lindsay! You're the bestest instructor ever!!

6. Random fact - I love taking pictures :) I had a great "photoshoot" with Faith at the Albertson house a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, I transferred the pictures to the computer, deleted them off the camera, and they disappeared from the computer. ::sigh:: I have a couple, but they're not the best ones. I may post them later, though...

And what God has taught me...

~ It's SO SO SO important...more than I could ever tell you...to keep the communication lines open between yourself and the Savior.

~ If you decide to do something, you've got to stick with it. No matter what.

~ Friends are important. Don't take advantage of others, give of yourself as much as possible (but remember...don't overdo it.), and love. Not with your own love, cause it's not enough. But with the love of Christ, anything is possible.

~ Family is even more important. You're kinda stuck with them your whole life :P

~ Looking for the good things in life is the key to finding them. Oh, but you're never gonna catch the roadrunner. {Sorry, inside joke, but I couldn't resist :)}

And that's all I have time for tonight...happy trailzz, my friends!
