We had a white Christmas this year...around 5 inches fell between Saturday and Sunday. Church was canceled, so we spent our Sunday enjoying God's beautiful creation. Snow! Such a wonderful reminder of His matchless grace, love, and forgiveness.
Not to mention a lot of fun. You can see a few of my pics here.
Jeff brought Danny's four-wheeler so we found a rope and took turns riding on the sleds. A little while later, while we were taking a break for snow cream and hot chocolate, the Cheek's arrived and we ventured out once again. This time to have a snowball war. :) Danny showed up halfway through and we continued our fight until dark. Today, Noah and I built 11 snowmen lining the driveway. We're hoping they'll stay up 'til tomorrow night - the postponed Thompson get-together. Because of the weather, the Young's were unable to make the trip from Tennessee so this will be our first gathering without them.
Well, I'm going to go make myself useful...Merry Christmas a few days late, and Happy New Year a few days early!

Not fair! We got an inch, not enough to do anything with. Here's hoping (and praying) for more snow!
I Love it! Wish we could have had that much fun!
